Jim Cooper, RCDD has joined Communications Specialists, Inc. (CSI) of Mechanicsville, VA as their Quality Control Engineer.

CSI is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Jim Cooper to our staff. Jim will hold the title of Quality Control Engineer. Jim is BICSI RCDD Certified since 2001, and comes to us with expertise in Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, CCTV, Construction Management, Submittal Review, Cost Estimating, and IT Infrastructure.

Jim was a former engineer for Hankins & Anderson Architects + Engineers.   We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to the contributions and successes Jim will bring to our team.

Communications Specialists, Inc. (CSI) is now SWaM Certified!

Mechanicsville, VA - CSI is proud to announce our certification as a Small Woman and  Minority - owned business (SWaM), by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Minority Business Enterprise (DMBE). This certification enables our State customers to support the Commonwealth’s Diversity Procurement Initiative as a business partner with us.  CSI is listed as a certified vendor on the SWaM Vendor Directory. This directory is a listing of all certified small, women and minority-owned firms currently on file with DMBE, along with a description of the products/services they provide.  The SWaM Vendor Directory is posted on DMBE’s website at www.dmbe.virginia.gov and shared with procurement agents of state agencies as well as other public entities and private corporations.
